Welcome to FL Argentum’s Professional Development Program. Our courses are some of the most affordable and comprehensive programs available, focusing on Florida’s law and rule.
By registering for one of our courses, you are on your way to enhancing your career and profession as an ALF administrator.
To become an assisted living administrator, you must first complete a 26-hour course taught by a state approved ALF Core trainer. Then, you must register and pass a state exam provided by the University of South Florida (www.alf.usf.edu).
FL Argentum’s Core Training courses are scheduled in conjunction with USF’s scheduled ALF Exam dates and locations. If you have any questions, please call (813) 974-2571 or email ALFtest@usf.edu. For a listing of USF’s frequently asked questions click USF FAQs. Please click on the image below for a listing of ALF Exam dates and registration deadlines.
We are working with the best trainers in the business. When you register for our ALF Blended Core Training Course, you will receive a manual that will contain copies of the laws and rules; as well as biographies on FL Argentum’s trainers and our contact information. Please feel free to reach out to any of us if you have any questions.
Once you pass the exam, you will receive a certificate from the state. After that, an administrator must participate in 12 hours of continuing education every 2 years on subject matter related to assisted living.
